Link Road Project - M9-N5

The Link Road which connects the Super Highway M9 to the National Highway N5, is located in the north -eastern suburbs of Karachi near Kathore at a distance of about 15km from the Toll Plaza on Karachi – Hyderabad Superhighway, M-9, in Gadap and Bin Qasim Towns. The project scope is development of an existing road, by making it a four-lane carriageway, about 22.343 Km (approx.) long, between M-9 and N-5. The Concession Agreement signed on April 1, 2021 with Works and Services Department and LRC Private Limited.

Public Benefits/ Impact: The project serves as an important link/connection between M9 and N5 roads and caters to predominantly heavy traffic of Landhi and adjacent industrial areas of Karachi.
