Project description :

To ensure the fool proof safety and security of the infants the safety and security project was initiated in 2013 and CCTV camera system, security guards and a baby tagging system were introduced as a key part. Health Department, Government of Sindh (GoS), conceived safety & security project for NICH under PPP modality. The objective of the project is to provide safety & security to patients during their stay at the hospital. The services include CCTV surveillance system, security and protection of the hospital, fire alarm system, baby tagging, patient tracking system, outsourcing of private security guards.


Public Benefits/ Impact: Ensuring infant security is critical not only to the reputation of the hospital, but also to the peace of mind of everyone there, from nursing staff to new mother.
