Nabisar to Vajihar Water Supply Project

The Irrigation Department GoS entered into a Concession Agreement with Enertech Water Private limited on June 26, 2021 for the Nabisar to Vajihar Water Supply Project under the PPP mode. The Project intends to supply 45 cusecs of water, through a 60.7Km pipeline and two reservoirs, to the IPPs in Thar Block I for electricity generation of 1650MW.

Public Benefits/ Impact: The Project will ensure un-interrupted supply of water to IPPs which shall ensure electricity generation of 1650MW in the province.
